Eames Kite playing cards

For the Eameses, play was never far from design.

This edition designed by Art of Play with the Eames Office is inspired by a tissue paper kite created by Charles Eames in 1950. Its very simple shapes and almost childlike color palette were taken directly from the original object. The result is a graphic, luminous, and joyful deck that fairly well sums up this idea cherished by Charles and Ray Eames: the simplest objects can also be the ones that give the most pleasure.

The game comes in a letterpress-printed box celebrating the house designed and built by Charles and Ray Eames.
