French illustrator Marina Vandel, based in Lyon, is a graduate of the Fine Arts in graphic communication and has completed her curriculum with courses in scientific drawing at the Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle in Paris. She was a colourist with Aimee Wilder in New York, where she also learned the art of wallpaper. Her illustrations are made in pencil, gouache or watercolor.
Alongside her work for clients such as Anthropologie, Fragonard, Aigle, Marin Montagut and the Musée d'Art Moderne de Saint-Etienne, she develops a personal work that she exhibits in different art galleries in France and Japan and from which is drawn this series of postcards.
